No spoon required

Have you ever wondered how a chef measures their spices accurately without constantly referring to a measuring spoon? Well, Chef Bryce has found a unique solution to this problem. He has a “functional” tattoo on the palm of his hand that accurately measures spices. This inking, which resembles two overlapping rings, is always on hand - literally!

In a recent Instagram clip posted by Foodom, Chef Bryce poured salt into his hand and then into a measuring spoon to demonstrate the accuracy of his tattoo. The private chef uses this tattoo “day-to-day” to measure spices, and he never has to worry about carrying a measuring spoon around again. So, if you’re curious about how chefs make their dishes taste so amazing, it might just be the functional tattoos that give them an edge!
