Ink Me Baby One More Time: Britney Spears Gets New Tattoo She Immediately Regrets — Spears Says, “It Sucks! I Have To Fix It!”

By Sidra Lackey

Britney Spears (going by the name: River Red these days also), pop music princess, recently shared via Instagram that she got a new tattoo. A small heart it appears. But Spears is not a fan of the newest addition to her tattoo collection. She refuses to officially show the tattoo and wants it already fixed!

In Spears’ caption to the Instagram post she made while recently in Hawaii she wrote: “Tattoo in Maui 3 days ago!!! Can’t show it because it sucks!!! Like really really sucks!!! S**t!!! Psss … I have to fix it!!!”

In the Instagram post about her new tattoo, Spears posted a video of  her actually getting tattooed. In the video, Spears is in a hotel room and seems excited initially before she gets tattooed. She dances around saying, “Tattoo time, tattoo time, tattoo time!” Then she makes the remark, “One day I’ll figure it out,” as a man — her tattoo artist — comes on camera and starts tattooing her arm. Spears murmurs something undecipherable before saying, “It’s cool. Very cool,” as her artist continues tattooing her. But the look on her face says otherwise and she looks surprised at the tattoo.

Spears seemingly now has a collection of 10 tattoos. Her last tattoo before her most recent one this month was in 2021. Spears got it on the back of her neck. It says, “Mem Hey Shin” in a Hebrew language written backwards, and means “healing.” Spears has called it her “favorite tattoo.” Her new tattoo of 2023 however is certainly not!  The pressing question is: Who is the tattoo artist who did her new heart tattoo that “really really sucks”?

Tattoo collectors, have you ever got a tattoo done you regretted right away? Did you keep it or fix it? Tattoo artists, have you ever done a tattoo that a client wasn’t happy with? If so, how did you fix the sticky situation?
